Throughout July and August, our Center organized a series of activities that brought together refugees and members of the local community, highlighting the importance of knowledge, solidarity, and the preservation of cultural identity.<\/p>\n

Workshop on preparing for the labor market<\/strong><\/p>\n

In July, the Community Center for Refugee Integration in Belgrade hosted a workshop dedicated to supporting Ukrainian refugees in preparing for the labor market in Serbia. Ms. Jovana Radman, a Human Resources manager from Zrenjanin, generously volunteered to share her expertise and knowledge on writing effective CVs, preparing for job interviews, and understanding the specifics of Serbian business culture. The workshop was also available online, allowing participants from other parts of Serbia to join. Media coverage further contributed to raising awareness about the challenges and needs of refugees, while also showcasing their potential and opportunities for integration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Celebration of Ukraine\u2019s Independence Day<\/strong><\/p>\n

August was marked by a festive atmosphere and the joint celebration of Ukraine\u2019s Independence Day, organized in cooperation with the Ukrainian Refugee Association Radosna. Community members and friends gathered in Belgrade to share traditional dishes, music, and games. The event was an opportunity not only to honor their homeland, but also to preserve culture and identity, while strengthening mutual connections and a sense of belonging.<\/p>\n
