The JRS team from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the JRS team from Serbia proved that we are a small and efficient organization through cooperation and support, working together on the education of newly employed colleagues on the Safe House project, which will soon begin work in Sarajevo. Namely, the Safe House concept is similar to the Integration House project in Belgrade, and it was necessary to provide support to colleagues from Bosnia and Herzegovina through additional information from expert workers who have been working on the Integration House project for years, in order to implement their business in the best possible way and to were better prepared for potential problems, obstacles and similar challenging situations that work in the profession can bring.

Through examples from our own experiences and practice, we explained to our new colleagues how to deal with unforeseen situations in the best and most efficient way, how to behave in possible crisis situations, how the social system works in our country, talked about protocols and documentation that is used for professional purposes and everything with the aim of facilitating potential challenging situations in which they have not been before, and could happen, for new colleagues.

We had the opportunity to hear the presentation of our colleagues from Bosnia and Herzegovina from Bihać, and to get to know our organization’s business even better. As social workers of the Integration House, we are proud to have had the opportunity to present the work of the Integration House and to support the new “young” team, which we are sure will give the same good results as the Integration House when they start working on the project. This was a nice and useful meeting of an educational nature, in which we got even closer with new and old colleagues, so after this education, from which we took away good impressions, there is nothing left to do, except to wish them the best of luck in their work on the Safe House project.
