This month has been filled with special moments, as we organized a series of gatherings and a psychosocial workshop for children and youth from Ukraine, in collaboration with the PIN organization. The workshop, titled “Emotions and What to Do with Them”, was an opportunity for the children and youth to relax, open up, and learn how to recognize and manage their feelings.
The children and youth learned about the importance of emotional intelligence, how to recognize their emotions, and how to express them healthily – all through creative games and conversations. These activities were designed to help them cope with the challenges they have faced, providing a safe environment for emotional expression and growth.
In addition to the psychosocial workshop, we enjoyed various fun activities, such as decorating the Christmas tree. During breaks, the children had fun playing the Sony PlayStation, which further strengthened their friendships and brought much laughter.
These activities did not only allow the children and youth to express themselves but also provided them with a chance to relax and have fun in a safe environment, away from worries. We believe that these moments were filled with fun and understanding, and we, the adults, are proud to have had the opportunity to contribute to the children’s emotional and social development.
We thank all the volunteers and collaborators who participated in organizing this event, as well as the PIN organization for their cooperation and support. These experiences reminded us of the importance of togetherness and love, and we look forward to creating more unforgettable moments together.
